Tail Waggin' 2010

Going to local events is a good way to capture warm moments. January is a month filled with opportunity at our local fairgrounds. A visit to Jan. 9th dog show ended up with this lovely portrait of these two lap warmers. A complete album is posted on my Facebook page.

Catching up on 2009 still

Keeping in touch in many different places is a juggling act for me. Before Christmas I had a chance to do this Christmas card photo of Sandy's Aussies (below). Posing 4 dogs and one person, getting them all looking forward and happy was challenging. Thanks Mike for being a good attraction.

Then I got a chance to help Efrain Lagunas ( above left ) get a Senior Portrait for his year book... with only three days to the dead line. It rained every day except Thursday the day before the deadline. Here is what we ended up sending, he was happy so was I.

Catching up

The summer/fall were busy and also a time when my health needed attention. After major surgery Oct 26th, I'm home catching up on orders and healing. It's been fun working on photos that reflect although my summer flew by it was filling with some wonderful moments.

There is much more I will post but right nowI'll start with these early shows. Coming up will be pics from the Golden Gate Arabrian Show, the Mother Mode Morgan show, and Dressage in the Wine Country. More next week.

Sandy's Aussies May 12

Me Playing with the Pups

Here's some shots of Sandy's most current litter of Aussies. Her beloved Bobby had a litter of 6 boys, all healthy, lovable, bouncing pups.
Publish Post

Playing with these pups is one of my favorite activities, Sandy took some shots of me playing ( the photographer is never in the photos).

My Senior Horse Session

Stonybrook Connemara's Senior Horse Session

I shot some photos of Whiskey this spring, he has turned 25 and thanks to Sandy taking such good care of him, looks great ( bottom photo).
This led to a Senior Horse photo session for Stonybrook Connemara's Joan Webster.
We had such fun getting her beautiful
*Canal Laurinston ( Chip, below) and Balius Golden Piper (Balie- red halter above).

The first photo is my favorite action shot of Chip floating across the hill.

Catching up

Web Video Demo

After two days of computer crashes and cranky software, I finally completed an Ipod version of my web video demo. I tried to upload it to Facebook but it was over the 2min limit. Smugmug did a great job with it, and I decide to share it here.
